Self Esteem Group

This workshop provides women with a range of techniques, skills & strategies to strengthen their self esteem, within a safe and comfortable peer group setting.

*Please note: Prior to entering the group, all women must be assessed by a Counsellor at Midland Women’s Health Care Place.

GROUP DATES:

Circle of Security – For Mums & Dads

Early Intervention for Parents & Children

Can you imagine what it would be like to quickly and calmly determine what your child needs from you?  Understanding your child’s emotional needs helps you support them and organise their feelings. This course can help you to enhance your child’s self esteem and guide emotional development.

  • Video-based training helps parents learn to observe and interpret children’s behaviour using the Circle of Security.
  • Relevant to parents with children of all ages
  • Mums & dads welcome

This program will help you to feel more confident about meeting your children’s emotional needs whilst setting appropriate limits for them.

Letting Go Series – Skills 4 Managing Depression

Our Skills 4 Managing Depression workshops are designed for those experiencing depression. Build skills to manage depression.

FREE Introductory Workshops

Not sure if the workshop will be right for you? Why not attend one (or more) of our FREE introductory workshops! As the content will be similar for both workshops, there is no obligation to attend both. Free crèche available – bookings for crèche and/or workshops are essential.

Term 4 Timetable

Each term MWHCP publishes a timetable of low cost groups and courses available to women in the region to improve their health and well-being. A holistic approach to women’s health is taken in putting together the timetable and incorporating all aspects of emotional, physical, financial and spiritual health. We also offer workshops on various special interest topics such as food and nutrition.
