Judith Durnin JP
Val Ferguson JP
Val Ferguson has been on this Board since 1995, and led the Building Sub-Committee in a stepped approach to securing Lotterywest Grant to build MWHCP premises (Val Ferguson Centre). Val has maintained her position as Chair through many changes and has continued to shine the way for the Board to continue its legal and fiduciary duties. Val’s personal qualities, determination, attention to detail, administrative diligence and understanding of process have obviously made her an excellent Chair, but it is her persistence, integrity and compassion that have guided the ethos of MWHCP.
Gillian Kaub
Gillian joined us just as we were starting the process of seriously looking for a way to get a new premises. Gillian became Treasurer in 2001 and has served consistently since that time in the role and was a part of the Building Sub-Committee. She has also seen us through the thick and thin of dealing with builders, funding bodies, ordering and equipping the premises and moving. She has also lent her considerable human service skills to the hiring of Staff, but her even tempered approach and calm demeanour have certainly helped us weather some storms over the years.
Judith Durnin JP
Judith was the smiling face at the end of the corridor at 26 Railway Parade. She was the first administration coordinator for MWHCP, joining the organisation in 1996. We owe her the fine well formed ethics which form the backbone of the Policy and Procedures Manual, and many of the first systems of administration which were established as the organisation grew and flourished. Judith’s friendly manner, enthusiastic temperament and outstanding principled approach have ensured careful attention to process.
